Good morning. In the news this morning, Philadelphia police officials are still not sure where the bullets came from that injured two officers during the city's 4th of July celebration on the Ben Franklin Parkway.

Chief Inspector Frank Vennor said Wednesday that the two 40 caliber bullets were fired from the

same weapon and likely traveled from quite a distance away.

Vanor said he does not believe the officers were the intended targets.

bullet can travel unimpeded more than a mile. The injured officers were standing at the base of the

saw blood, and told him that he had been shot.

He then looked over at Philadelphia Police Officer Sergio Diggs and saw blood coming down his face.

Diggs said it felt like he had been hit over the head or an object had hit him.

The bullet that hit Diggs was most likely traveling in a downward direction and was found lodged in his hat.

Both were treated and released from the hospital and are at home recovering.
