And the news this morning, that tractor trailer accident on the Schuylkill Expressway, so the trailer was carrying deli meats and it caught fire on the school early Monday morning. It happened at 3.45 a.m. on the eastbound side of the Schuylkill near the Concha-Hawken curve. The driver of the truck was able to detach the cab portion of the burning trailer. The driver was not injured. The burning trailer crashed sending debris onto the roadway. Now, this is a serious question. I know there's a tragedy, and hopefully nobody was really hurt in this thing. Yeah. But do you think it did smell like a barbecue? I would have to imagine, right? Yeah. Like, you know, like roasting ham or something like that. Well, all right, so not that long ago. Ham, definitely. Something happened where, like, wasn't there like syrup or like molasses or something like that was stolen? Yes, and people could smell it around the area. Yeah, you're right. It was like a couple of months ago. I press, I assume yes. It probably smelled a way. I assume yes. No, I'm going to assume no on that. I think that fire is going to overtake the smell.

There's fuel and other things. That's a legitimate scientific question, Preston. If you burn a truck full of jelly, yes, I would have to imagine. You would smell it, right?

You would smell some, yeah, some cooking. I mean, meat. Yes, you're not in favor of burning jelly trash. Unless you're simply observing. I want to know if anybody lives in the area.

They woke up and thought maybe somebody was making a grilled ham sandwich or something like. I live in the area. It didn't smell the cans. That sounds good. You remember when you're a kid and you'd smell bacon in the morning. Mom's cooking bacon on a Saturday morning. Oh, that was a great way to wake up, man.

So, man, I had the crackling of the fire.

So, man, I had so many questions about this. But when you, when you, did you smell the fire? That's what I was going to ask, Kat. Did you smell the fire? You didn't smell the cooking meat, but did you smell the fire? Like fuel or. You would smell the smoke, right? Yeah. I didn't know. I didn't smell the fire.

Like, I passed over the Skuylkul, and I couldn't even see it. So it was closer eastbound, like closer to us here in Balakimwood, I think. Fire crews were called to the scene that was, and they shut down both eastbound lanes of the Skuylkill Expressway. of course you're going to start to see a gap or delay on the westbound side. They got the original call, Kathy, they thought it was a bunch of bologna. Ha-ho! Yes! Yes! It may have been. Drivers are advised to take alternate routes, including Route 23 Ridge Pike and Lancaster Avenue. So we'll keep you updated throughout the morning as to when they can get that reopened. By the way, is bologna? What is bologna? What is a good question? Hot dogs are, right? I know people are hot dogs. I'm the wrong person to ask. I told you guys that I ate bologna for like a year and a half before I realized it wasn't what I preferred liverwurst. So that's how stupid I am.
