In the news this morning, a New York woman was rescued from a hostage situation Sunday after sending a note to a restaurant through a grubb hub delivery order, according to police and a statement from the restaurant.

A woman wrote in the additional instruction portion of her order to the

clipper truck in the Bronx, according to a Facebook post on the restaurant's Facebook page.

The post said that she ordered before 5 a.m. I've often heard of this happening, but never

thought that it would happen to us. Thankfully, we were open and able to help her, it said.

The New York City Police Department said officers responded to the scene at about 620. The suspect, Camoy Royal, was arrested on charges of rape, strangulation, criminal sex acts, unlawful imprisonment, menacing, assault, criminal possession of a weapon and sexual abuse. The victim is 24 years old, according to police. Now, Royals also accused of attempting to rape a 26-year-old on June 15th and is being charged in that incident as well. 20-year-old Elisa Bermajou, whose parents owned the clipper truck, said she arrived at the store after the incident. Two women, one in her 40s and one in her 20s, fielded the note and called the father who owns the restaurant for guidance because the message was somewhat incoherent.

He instructed them to cancel the order for a cheeseburger and an Irish breakfast sandwich

and send it to police instead. He said, call 911, whether it's fake or not, better just

get them out there, she said. That was the best thing for her. Bermazio said of the victim,

the police ended up showing up instead of the delivery driver.

So I use caviar fairly often and they do have that little comment or special request box.

And a lot of times they'd say that they won't read, you know, whatever restaurant you're ordering from won't pay attention, won't accommodate special orders.

The fact that this went through and the guy finally just said, let's just do it anyway.
