So, we have to hear about this little adventure that Kathy's family has been going through the past couple of days.

Yeah, not so fun the past couple of days.

Yeah, man, you really scared us with that text the other night.

Well, we were really scared.

I can imagine.

I'm a man. So it's been a little crazy. But on Monday, my brother called me, and I was in the middle of doing something and saw that he called. I missed the call. And I said, I'll call him back in a little bit. And then I see a text come in from my mom. And that's never good when it's back to back. So I called my brother and he said, I'm on my, on my way over to, you know, dad's house. He called, he was painting and he fell. He thinks he broke his leg. So I'm like, oh, my gosh. Oh, no, you know. And so I said, well, are you calling 911? He said, no, he said he's fine. don't call 911. You know, I'm going to go check it out. But it was right around rush hour.

check it out. But it was right around rush hour. So my parents live in East Narton, so it was a little, you know, it takes a little bit of time to get there down Germantown. So he called again. He said, he didn't sound good on the phone. So I'm going to call again. I'm going to check on him. called again. Are you sure you're okay? Are you sure I don't need to call 911? He said, no, I don't

need to call 911. I just need you to get here. So, okay, my brother Jim says, I'm going to check on him. Called again. Are you sure you're okay? Are you sure I don't need to call 911? He said, no, I don't need to call 911.

I just need you to get here.

So, okay, my brother, Jim, says, I'm on my way. And so he said he got there and he thought, you know, my dad was going to be sitting somewhere waiting for him. Yeah, I think, I don't know, it feels kind of weird. I think I got to broke it.

What does he come into?

Yeah.

So he comes and he sees the front door is partially opened and my dad's hand is hanging out

the door and he's using the doorknob to lift his weight up to take the pressure off of his leg.

So my dad fell 16 feet from an extension ladder and essentially snapped his femur bone in half.

I mean, it's clean.

One of the biggest bones in your body.

And Kathy showed us the x-ray.

Just the x-ray is hard to look at.

Well, because it is completely cut in half, separated, and off angle.
