Good morning in the news this morning. A Delaware County officer who was shot nearly two years ago had a gun pointed at him again while he was chasing two suspects wanted in a Chester homicide.

Homicide. Police issued a surveillance photo of one of the men they say was taken as he fired a gun in the homicide Monday afternoon. It's a pretty clear shot of this guy too.

Investigators said that he and the other man then fled into neighboring Fulcroft in a rented Nissan with New York tags.

It was in Fulcroft where they were pursued by two officers and ended up at the intersection of Carter and Edward Road at about 530.

One of the officers was identified as Christopher Dorman.

Officer Dorman survived being shot seven times, including once in the face in June of 2016.

After being called to a report of a drug deal, Dorman recovered and went back to work a few months later.

Police say the suspects abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.

One suspect turned around and pointed the gun at Officer Dorman, who returned several shots.

Sometimes you hear stories of officers who say, I've I've never even pulled my gun, you know, in the line of duty. And here, look at this guy. My gosh, so scary. It's unclear at this time if the suspect fired. His gun police said that the men continued running, even crashing through a wooden border fence. Authorities aren't sure if the suspects were injured, but the officers were not. Fortunately, Folcroft police say one suspect is now also wanted for attempted homicide of a police officer.

The search continues for both of them, and police are asking if you see either suspect to call 911.

A fire damaged a historic hotel and restaurant in Bucks County, displacing at least 15

people. It happened at the Richland Town Inn in the 100 block of South Main Street shortly after

midnight Tuesday. Firefighters were met with heavy flames coming out of the back of the building.

Three or four people, they said, were still inside. Fire crews had to go in and get them out safely.

The fire was mainly contained to the first floor and the restaurant.

Two firefighters suffered minor injuries and the Red Cross responded to the scene and are assisting those who are displaced.

Though it is a hotel, most of the people who stay there are permanent residence.

The hotel is a historic building. In Richlandtown, it was built in 1812. It had different names and uses
