In the news this morning, emergency crew has responded to a hazmat situation early Friday in Delaware County after firefighters may have been exposed to chemicals.

Firefighters received the initial call about 1 a.m. for a fire at the Norquay Technologies on the 800 block of West Front Street in Chester.

Crews extinguished the flames in about 20 minutes, but it turned out that they may have been exposed to chemicals, officials said.

As a precaution, 11 firefighters and two civilians went through the decontamination process.

They were being taken to three hospitals for further evaluation.

It's unclear at this time what chemicals, the 13 people may have been in contact with, but fire officials say that there was no threat to the surrounding neighborhood. When they go into places where there might have been like a meth lab or something

a lot of times, they encountered drugs that are incredibly volatile. So yeah, I'll be curious to see what

they think they might have been exposed to. What it was. Yeah, exactly. This is an awful story.

A Chicago woman who sold baby clothes to a pregnant woman and lured her back to her house with

an offer of more clothing has been charged with murder after allegedly strangling the woman with a cord

and cutting the infant from her wound, police said.

46-year-old Clarissa Figueroa apparently wanted to raise another child two years after her adult son

died of natural causes. Investigator said murder charges have been filed against Figueroa, her 24-year-old daughter Desiree, and then her 40-year-old boyfriend was also charged with concealment of a homicide.

The charges come three weeks after 19-year-old Marlon Ochoa Lopez disappeared and a day after her body was discovered in a garbage can in the backyard of Figueroa's home on the city south side about four miles from her own home. According to police, the young woman drove from high school to Figueroa's home in response to an offer for free clothes that Figueroa had posted on Facebook. When she arrived, police said that she was strangled and the baby was cut from her body. A few hours later, Figueroa

frantically called 911, claiming that her newborn baby was not breathing. When first responders

arrived, the child was blue. They tried to resuscitate the infant and transported the boy to a

nearby hospital where police say he remains in a grave condition and was not expected to survive.
