In the news this morning, emergency crew has responded to a hazmat situation early Friday in Delaware County after firefighters may have been exposed to chemicals.

Firefighters received the initial call about 1 a.m. for a fire at the Norquay Technologies on the 800 block of West Front Street in Chester.

Crews extinguished the flames in about 20 minutes, but it turned out that they may have been exposed to chemicals, officials said.

As a precaution, 11 firefighters and two civilians went through the decontamination process.

46-year-old Clarissa Figueroa apparently wanted to raise another child two years after her adult son

died of natural causes. Investigator said murder charges have been filed against Figueroa, her 24-year-old daughter Desiree, and then her 40-year-old boyfriend was also charged with concealment of a homicide.

The charges come three weeks after 19-year-old Marlon Ochoa Lopez disappeared and a day after her body was discovered in a garbage can in the backyard of Figueroa's home on the city south side about four miles from her own home. According to police, the young woman drove from high school to Figueroa's home in response to an offer for free clothes that Figueroa had posted on Facebook. When she arrived, police said that she was strangled and the baby was cut from her body. A few hours later, Figueroa
