In the news this morning, state police are investigating that fiery crash that has injured at least two people on the Schuylkill Expressway early Wednesday.

It happened overnight at about 2.40 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of the expressway near Gerard Avenue in Fairmount Park.

Police said the crash involved a tractor, trailer, and two other vehicles.

So listen, the cargo and part of the trailer caught fire and then a portion of it fell over

the expressway and on to Sweet Briar Drive beneath it. Officials have not released the condition

of the two people that were injured. State police remain on the scene investigating the crash.

Officers are asking motorists to avoid the location of the expressway from Montgomery Avenue to 30th

street. And I saw pictures of it and it looks pretty bad. So it was like, you know, that overpass there. And it actually, a portion of the tractor trailer fell over and went down beneath onto Sweet Breyer Drive. So they're investigating this crash. It happened at about 240. They are still out there. But obviously throughout the morning, I'll keep you updated

when they can reopen that. Yeah, Kathy, they were showing a live video feed and they were about,

it looked like 10 rescue vehicles of all sorts in the line. It was just an amazing mess.

I mean, it's just, it's ridiculous that something like this happens at 2 o'clock in the morning.

I mean, there aren't many cars out on the road anyway. Well, also, Casey, you can't help but think about it in this time that we're in with limited traffic and, you know, but still, yeah, it's a hell of an accident. Yeah, so we'll keep you updated throughout the morning when they can open that up. I'll let you know. Pediatricians are reporting a rare but concerning condition that could be linked to COVID-19.

Infectious disease, Dr. Isminder-Karr at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia says there have been two cases.

Doctors in Europe have also warned about conditions.

And in New York, the Department of Health issued a warning after at least 15 kids have been affected.
