In the news this morning, two people were injured when intense flames burned through a house in Richardson Park, Newcastle County, early Thursday. The fire broke out at about 1.30 in the morning on the unit block of West Summit Avenue, just south of Maryland Avenue. Raging flames consume the home and a handicap ramp leading to the front of the home. One of the residents inside ran across the street to a nearby firehouse while the other resident, a 51-year-old

woman was found lying on a neighbor's lawn. The two women were taken to Christiana Hospital. One is in

critical condition with burns over 75% of her body and she was transferred to Crozier. Fire officials

say smoke detectors saved the lives of the women waking them up and giving them a chance to get out

of the house. The two-story single-family home is directly across the street from the firehouse. The state fire marshal is at the scene this morning. They are investigating to try to find a cause of this fire. Yeah, it's the smoke detector thing. Thank God for that. I mean, obviously some, you know, people are in really, really bad shape. but we're actually going to have somebody in here in the next week or two because, Steve,

you and I met this guy in the hallway. Yeah, they're doing a great thing. They're doing a really, really great thing where, I mean, I don't know if it was a state or the city was given, like, basically a million dollars to go and give people fire detect,, smoke detectors. Yeah, yeah.

They do it a lot in the summertime.

A Philadelphia minister is among 16 men arrested in a New Jersey child predator sting operation.

The New Jersey Attorney General's Office announced the arrest during Operation Home Alone during a press conference Wednesday.

37-year-old Roger Arroyo was charged for allegedly luring kids through social media apps.

Arroyo is a traveling minister from Philadelphia.

He faces charges including second-degree luring, third-degree attempted morals of a child,

and fourth-degree attempted criminal sexual contact.

Others arrested include a Ridgewood police officer, a Bronx New York high school teacher, drivers for two ride chair companies,

a finance lead for an internet service provider, a bank branch office manager,
