Good morning. In the news this morning, the Aston Township Fire Department's spring carnival has been permanently shut down after a brawl broke out Thursday night.

Police said towards the end of the night at the Delaware County Carnival, around 9.30,

a large crowd started to gather and several fights broke out.

According to police, there were initial reports of possible shots being fired and guns pulled,

but those reports proved to be unfounded.

Officers at the scene on the 2,900 block of Dutton Mill Road called for assistance from multiple police departments for crowd control.

They broke up the crowds and several people were arrested.

I was looking on ABC, the story this morning. Yeah, yeah.

The overhead shots of it did.

I mean, like a huge line of cop cars, they called out.

That's the way to about a carnival? Several departments. Yeah. Came out to help with the crowd control. I guess. What about the wonderful games of chance? Well, I guess they've been having issues for a few years. Oh, have they? Is it the word? Yeah. So Sean Joyce, President of the Aston Township Fire Department issued a statement Thursday night,

apologizing for the events.

for the unfortunate events that transpired this evening at our 2019 spring carnival,

which was once a local family tradition, has turned into a landing spot for out-of-town troublemakers.
