Good morning in the news this morning with heads hanging low.

Four former Penn State Fraternity brothers

walked into a Pennsylvania courtroom to face the judge for the hazing death of Timothy Piazza.

Joseph Scala, Michael Bonitucci, Luke Visser, and Joshua Kershefsky all sentenced Tuesday for

Piazza's 2017 death after the 19-year-old died following an alcohol-fueled hazing ritual.

Sala, who was charged with three counts of hazing and one count of conspiracy to commit hazing, will serve three months of house arrest and more than two and a half years probation. Bonitucci and Visser could face up to six months behind bars. Kershevsky was dealt the harshest punishment with three to nine months in jail. The four are among 26 members of the

Beta Theta Piazza fraternity charge in the case. Prosecutors say it took Piazza's fraternity

brothers 12 hours to call 911 after finding the 19-year-old unconscious following a night of forced

drinking, which ended with Piazza falling headfirst down a flight of stairs. A furious legal battle

followed Piazza's death with the judge dismissing the most serious

charges of manslaughter against the five members of the fraternity.

But many are still facing a slew of other charges, including tampering with evidence,

reckless endangerment, and hazing.

They have yet to be sentenced.

I can't remember, Kaff, if it was the fall down the steps were the excessive drinking

that was really ultimately what killed this kid.

I mean, either way, this, I mean, this could happen to anybody at any time.

Like, you know, I just think of my time in school and hazing and people, you know, guy, I had friends that used to dive down the steps and it drove me crazy. I'm like, dude, you guys are going to get hurt and people would tumble down the steps and they thought it was fun. And I mean, my heart goes down to every single family that's involved with this thing, you know, whether it be the victims or, you know, the guys had been sentenced because this is just senseless and tragic. Piaz's parents told ABC News that they hope that their son's case will serve as a warning to others and make students think twice before hazing anyone.
