Good morning. In the news this morning, the names of two marine pilots who died in a helicopter crash during a training mission in southwestern Arizona were released Monday as the crash remained under investigation.

U.S. Marine Corps officials identified the pilots as 34-year-old Major Matthew Wygan of Ambler, Pennsylvania and 30-year-old Captain Travis Brannon of Nashville, Tennessee.

They said the AH-1Z Viper crashed at about 8.45 p.m. Saturday on the vast Marine Corps air

station Yuma training grounds while the pilots were conducting a training mission as part of a weapons and tactical instructor course.

Officials say that Wigan held qualification in the aircraft and Brandon was attending the semi-annual

weapons and tactic instructor course hosted by the base.

Marine officials say that Wygans' personal decorations included the Navy and Marine Corps achievement medal and a gold star.

Brandon's personal decorations included a global war on terrorism service medal and a sea service deployment ribbon.

Negotiations to avoid a potential strike by professors at the Community College of Philadelphia

ended late Monday night but are expected to resume Tuesday as union officials said enough progress

has been made to return for further talks.

The AFT Local 2026 co-president Jr. Brainerd said that he remains hopeful.

They can make progress on a number of issues concerning a new contract for 1,200 faculty

and support staff when they returned to the negotiating table at 9.30 this morning, but the

threat of strikes still looms.

The thing with the professors and their protest signs, they're always grammatically correct

and well-punuated.

College President Donald General's declined to comment, but has previously said if a strike

happens, they would try to hold classes.
