Good morning in the news this morning, an SUV carrying a large, free-spirited family from Washington State,

accelerated straight off a scenic

California cliff and authorities said Sunday night the deadly wreck may have been intentional.

Information pulled from the vehicle's software showed it was stopped at a flat dirt pull-off

area before it sped off the steep rocky face and plunged 100 feet, said Captain Greg Bartz

of the California Highway Patrol Northern Division.

Speaking at an evening news conference, Bartz, said the electronic information combined with the lack of skid marks or signs.

The driver braked led authorities to believe the crash was purposeful.

Five members of the Hart family were found dead.

The search continued for three more children believed to have been in the vehicle when it went over the coastal overlook and landed on rocks in the Pacific Ocean below. We talked about this a number of times on the show, Pritzikas, both you and I are fans of taking that drive. It's one of the most gorgeous stretches of highway you'll ever be on, but there are a lot of people who freak out because you're literally on the edge of the cliff as you're

driving around and it's very twisty and windy yes and there are parts where you could just drive right

off of it and if you are on it the thing to remember is like every mile and a half there's some

sort of area you can pull off and look out you don't have to be driving and looking but this one

when this story first broke i I sent it over to you.

And I'm like, because we've talked about this. But now it's taken on a whole new complexion. Yes, so sad. The missing children may have been washed away at sea. Authority said this specific location is very difficult to search because the ocean currents and tides are strong. It's unpredictable. and the murkiness of the water makes it difficult to see,

said a spokesman for the Medicino County Sheriff's Office. Known as the Hart tribe,

the multi-racial family of two married women, Sarah and Jennifer Hart, and six adopted children often took spontaneous road trips to camp and hike and travel to festivals and other

events, offering hugs and promoting unity.
