Good morning in the news this morning.

Three of the 18s wanton in connection with a brutal assault near City Hall have turned themselves into police.

On Thursday night, police said that they identified seven of the 18s and that the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office approved charges for their arrest.

Police said they are still working to identify the eighth suspect and take the additional suspects into custody.

Reports say that some of the suspects are planning to turn themselves in today.

The assault happened just after 7 p.m. on February 23rd, a 34-year-old woman was knocked to the ground and beaten by a group of young people at 15th in Chestnut Streets.

For eight kids to completely just take away any sort of comfort that I feel walking

down the street, it just makes me sick. The woman said in an interview with 6 ABC. The victim's father

said that he was in disbelief watching the video. You can't imagine absolute brutality, completely

inhumane. I don't know how a human being can do that to another human being, much less a teenager.

The woman said that while

nothing was physically taken from her, her peace of mind was stolen. She said the attack happened

before it was fully dark out and no one stopped to help her until she was unconscious. She said

she's a message for her attackers. This doesn't have to be your life, she says. I'm completely

about second chances, but that shouldn't be something that you feel okay doing

and high-fiving your friends afterwards. You can change and you can do something good, but it doesn't

have to be like this. It's a pretty impressive way to approach this. I know. As the victim.
