Good morning in the news this morning.

New Jersey school mask mandate ends today, but that doesn't mean all masks will be off.

Governor Phil Murphy made the announcement last month, citing the rapid easing of the Omicron surge.

He called the move a huge step back to normalcy for our kids. New Jersey's school mask mandate has been in place since classes resumed in person in September of 2020.

Though the state mandate ended, individual school districts will be free to continue requiring masks past March 7th.

Several school districts in the state, including Camden and Trenton, are still making masks mandatory.

Many mask mandates have already been lifted in Pennsylvania.

On Monday, the Upper Darby School District will join the list.

And then starting Wednesday in the school district of Philadelphia, masks will become optional

for students and staff with the exception of pre-K head start programs.

Netflix and TikTok suspended most of their service in Russia on Sunday as the government cracks

down on what people and media outlets can say about Russia's war in Ukraine.

American Express also announced it would suspend operations in Russia as well as the Russian

allied Belarus. The decision comes after Visa and MasterCard decided to do the same.

TikTok said Russian users would not be able to post new videos or see videos shared from elsewhere

in the world.

TikTok spokesperson Hillary McCaid said that the TikTok app in Russia now appears as view-only mode

and won't let people post or see new videos or live streams.
