Good morning in the news this morning. Beverly Hills, 902-0 star Luke Luke Perry has died at the age of 52 after he was

hospitalized last week from a massive stroke. So sad. Yeah. He was taken to the hospital after the

Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the actress home in Sherman Oaks Wednesday shortly

before 940 in the morning regarding a request for medical aid. Now according to dispatch audio,

the medical aid call was

in response to a stroke patient. Reports say that Perry was speaking to responders when they arrived,

but that he declined after that. The actor died surrounded by his friends and family,

according to a statement from his publicist. That included his children, Jack and Sophie,

fiance, Wendy, Madison Bauer, ex-wife, Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, stepfather, Steve Bennett, brother, Tom Perry, and his sister, Amy Coder.

It's just, it just sucks. 52. Terrible.

And, but you know what, from the first where they said he had a massive stroke, and I was just before the information came in 15 minutes before I found out he had passed, I was like, what's his status? I hadn't seen anything posted. I had a terrible feeling. I obviously did not want this to happen. But when there was no word and they were saying they were monitoring him after a massive stroke, you don't just monitor. There's something going on. I knew it wasn't going to be good news.

This is terrible. So Perry shot the fame for his role as Dylan McKay on the hit TV show, 902 and 0,

which ran from 1990 to 2000. He most recently starred in the show Riverdale. Doctors say people

even younger than Perry can suffer a stroke. Nearly 800, no, sorry, 800,000 Americans suffer strokes every year.

It's the leading cause of disability and death.
