This morning, a tornado tour through the southern U.S. state of Alabama on Sunday killing 23 people, uprooting trees and causing catastrophic damage to buildings and roads, a local sheriff said. Unfortunately, our toll as far as fatality does stand at 23 at the current time. Lee County Sheriff J. Jones said acknowledging that children were among the dead. Other people have been hospitalized, some with very serious injuries.

Search operations for those still missing were halted on Sunday night due to hazardous conditions, but Jones added they would resume on Monday morning.

The destruction left by the storm was a quarter mile wide and stretched for several miles that it traveled on the ground.

Pennsylvania State Police confirmed that two people have died after a crash in Milford

It happened at 5 p.m. along 6.63 near Spinnerstown Road. Police say the 17-year-old driver was from Pots Town. He was taken to Lehigh Valley. He was taken to Lehigh Hospital with injuries. Now, there were two passengers that were in the car. 18-year-old Michelle Godwin of Pensburg and 18-year-old Daniel Pearson of Red Hill. Both of them were killed in the crash.

Route 663 was shut down for several hours. It's not yet clear if weather played a role in the crash, but the roads were snow covered at the time. Police said the vehicle went off the
