Good morning in the news this morning for residents.

The initial confusion over the COVID-19 vaccines was bad enough.

But now an analysis by the Action News data team shows some counties in the greater Philadelphia area are being vastly shortchanged on vaccines.

Data shows that four suburban Philadelphia counties receive far fewer doses of the vaccine than many smaller counties across the Commonwealth.

According to the latest state data analyzed by 6ABC per 1,000 residents, Delaware County received 100...

Case, I did this story for you, so pay attention.

It's frustrating.

So per 1,000 residents, Delaware County received 134 doses.

Bucks County, 168.

Chester County, 171. and then Montgomery County, 221.

So those numbers don't vary too much. By comparison, the state reports having sent almost 45,000 doses to Montour County over the last

three months.

The county's population is only just over 18,000. So they got 45,000 doses. Who's responsible for this? Like, who's doing the math? Like, I know these are politicians, but you had to take basic math courses in school. Well, you do remember that in the beginning of all this, they had it struck that deal with that guy who was, like, just out of college. Yeah, that's right. No background whatsoever in this. And I think he tweeted out, I'm making, I'm going to be making some serious cash, man. That was Philly fighting COVID, but that was, that was in Philadelphia. So this is everything but Philadelphia. So four other smaller counties, Mifflin, Mercer, Clarion, and Elk all received more than 500 doses for every

1,000 of their residents, according to the state's data. Out of 67 counties, Delaware County is

ranked 46th in the state. Emails to the Pennsylvania Department of Health and Delaware County

Council seeking comment were not answered. The data does not include Philadelphia County,

which administers its own vaccine distribution
