Good morning in the news this morning. Philadelphia police said a man died Wednesday while in their custody. According to investigators, officers responded to the right-aid parking lot on the 4600 block of North Broad Street at about 520 in the evening. When they arrived, they saw a crowd around of people near a shirtless 28-year-old man who was lying on the ground between two parked cars. Officers said they received information that Narcan had been administered to the man by a pharmacist before their arrival. While investigating, the man

became increasingly agitated, screaming and hitting the cars in the ground with his body.

Police said officers struggled to place the man in handcuffs, and during the struggle,

a 31-year-old male officer hit the man in the face with a closed fist. The man was then

placed in handcuffs and taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, police said on the way to the hospital,

The body of a missing South Carolina girl was found Thursday, and a man's body was discovered

in the same small city where she vanished.

Investigators say six-year-old, six-year-old Faye Svetlick, her death is being treated as a homicide.

And this comes four days after the little girl was last seen getting off her school bus in case, a suburb of the state's capital Columbia.

No arrests have been made.

And investigators did not indicate whether they have identified any persons of interest in her death.

The unidentified man's body was found during the search for the child. A new investigation is now underway for that case.

Investigators released an image Wednesday showing two vehicles known to be in the area where Faye was last seen.

Officers did say they still need help identifying the people in the other car. Surveillance cameras captured what believed to be the last images of the first grader. They show her getting off the bus while wearing a black t-shirt with the word piece written on it.
