So we know it was a little more serious than the normal transport to the hospital. Yeah. Within five minutes, police and EMT arrived. G.N. delivered the baby girl named Luciana. Police say that they got their supplies for a natural delivery and to cut the umbilical cord and the baby was delivered right there on the bedroom floor. It was a rare occurrence for C-Ile with no hospital in town. A baby hasn't been born there since 1977, so the city honored both the family and the first responders for helping make history. Baby Luciana has been at Shore Memorial Center in Summer's Point since she was born, but her parents say that she will likely be able to go home any day now. |
