In the news this morning, a ground stop was issued for flights to Newark Airport

Tuesday evening after two drones were spotted in the airspace nearby, the FAA officials said.

Pilots headed to Newark, detected two drones near Titoboro Airport, forcing Newark Airport to suspend

arrivals. The FAA generally prohibits drones from flying within five miles of airports because of the danger they pose to other air traffic.

We missed the drone by about 30 feet off of our wing, a pilot said, in one air traffic control recording.

The chilling thing is here with most drones, like the drones that I've had, the DGI drones, it's one of the most popular companies. Yeah. They have built-in software that is put in there to stop you from going into areas where there are, there's active commercial traffic. Oh, wow. So when someone's doing something like this, there, there's, it's a little bit more nefarious that they're flying over an airport actively flying.
