Good morning in the news this morning. Police issued a warning after they say an Apple error tag alert was found on a vehicle in lower providence township and a suspicious vehicle was observed outside of the victim's home.

The incident happened on January 14th at approximately 8.44 p.m. when officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Barrington Road for a report of suspicious activity.

According to the police, the victim said that they had just

returned home from the movie tavern when they received an eye message on their iPhone from Apple

that read unknown accessory detected. This item has been moving with you for a while. When the victim

went inside their home, their phone sent an additional message warning that their location was

Well, we talked about this. We talked about that they were, that thieves were putting these tags on cars and parking lots. And also, stalkers have been using them. But it sounds like they've got the safety protocols in place that, yes, that might, you know, deterred, put a stop to this real quick. Yeah, they said they were going to do it.

Yes, that sounds promising. The victim then received a map on their phone showing that at 7.19 p.m., the device was activated near the movie tavern. The device was activated while the victim was at the movie tavern and then traveled along the map until they returned to their home at 8.38 p.m. Police say the victim then looked out their front window and noticed an unfamiliar vehicle

down the street down the street. They approached the vehicle and police say that the driver

slowly drove away. As the driver moved to the vehicle, police say the victim received another

notification that the phone that the device was driving eastbound and then was eventually disconnected when the
