Hello, it's Antrice, and welcome to another episode of the Sabby Painter Podcast.

I am super excited to have Carol Maureen as my guest this week, but before we dive into the episode, I wanted to mention a few things that are going on.

If you've been listening to the show, you know that although I record and produce the savvy painter from Argentina where I live with my husband.

I'm originally a Southern California girl.

In just four weeks, my husband and I are closing up shop here and going to California for three whole months.

We are both beside ourselves with excitement.

This is our once a year trip back home to see my family and friends.

In addition, I have a solo show of the paintings I created for my project, A Portrait of Argentina.

Of course, there's a bit of planning to do. I'm finishing up some

extra paintings, cataloging the work, and making an inventory of the list for

the gallery. To be honest, that's to help me keep my sanity, but the gallery loves that I'm doing it.

I'll be talking a lot more about the preparations at the beginning of the next few episodes

so you can follow along if you're interested in know how I plan for a show.

Today for example I got word that we got permission to do a paint out at the Rancho Santa

Anna Botanic Gardens.

I grew up in Claremont and the Botanic Gardens was one of my

favorite places to explore as a kid. I have very fond memories of writing my bike over

there with my friend Sarah. The Botanic Gardens has the largest garden dedicated

exclusively to California native plants. We're finalizing the date but it's going to be
