2018. The time now is 9.04 a.m. This is episode number 131, where I sit down sometime during the

night. I fell asleep while watching, not homeland, billions, and then I went to bed. I meant to make

a podcast about what I did last night, but I was tired. So I went to sleep and then I woke up and I'm getting

my morning started and my weekend started. But last night, I went out to dinner with Brandon

from Alan's camera. Known Brandon for a long, long time. Obviously, I worked at Alan's camera.

And unfortunately, when Alan passed away, Brandon, not unfortunately that Brandon

was working there, but Brandon was working there for a couple of years. And he took it over.

He's continuing on with Alan's camera. And we've had a close relationship for a long time since,

I mean, since I worked there in, what,

2007 or eight before I stopped working there, but I always went back.

And I've talked about it many times before how Alan was a catalyst to Frono's photo getting a jump start

because I had a place to go to touch gear, borrow gear,

sniff gear, unbox gear, and use the stuff that he had for used gear that I could go test out.

And so that was a major catalyst and also being able to get money from advertisers, the

Nikons, the cannons of the world, and get that

filtering to me so that I could continue to do what I wanted to do, which was so insane

making that content every day.

I mean, seriously, I used to just wake up and go figure out what to do.

Wake up, come up with an idea, and just go shoot it. It was like daily
