We will start with our news and notes and get you updated on all the injury news. Roman Anthony officially placed on the 10-day I.L. He had been dealing with wrist problems for some time,

officially being put on the injured list.

Jason Mingez is banged up today.

He is in concussion protocol after a catch he made earlier in the game.

He is going to be likely replaced by someone we'll talk about in just a moment.

Carlos Estevez is shut down another three weeks.

The was supposedly Boyle's closer had his velocity absolutely tank early on the year.

He is continuing to have a nightmare season.

Matthew Boyd, who got injured playing with his children.

Lessons to be learned there, perhaps.

Matthew Boyd had surgery,

which apparently successful,

but he'll be out another six weeks for the Cubs pitcher.

Luis Campanzano is going to be placed on the 10-day I-L,

so the Padre's already weak catcher depth gets worse.

And Cade Pavish was removed from his start today

after just three innings with forearm discomfort.

So those are some injury notes to mention Jackson Holiday, though, on the upswing.

He made a rehab start today as likely to join the Orioles sometime in the near future.

And then the transaction teased it a little bit earlier by who might be replacing Dominguez in the corner outfield none other than spencer jones who's likely to be called up

and make his m lb debut and uh joining him in the debut tier is going to be robbie snelling so a couple

top 100 prospects making their MLB debuts and that's going to be all for the news and notes here as we move on to the notable performances from the last day of baseball. It's a Thursday, so we have an abbreviated schedule, but still a lot of nice performances to get through. And we'll start with our hitters and the top hitter of the day, which is going to be none other than Bobby Witt, Jr. Very likely went either third or fourth in your fantasy drafts.
