Let's dive into everything baseball related from Sunday, May 24th. We'll start it off as always with the transactions injuries, news and note from around the league,

kicking things off with the bad news as starting pitcher Jake Irvin was placed on the 15-day

IO with a shoulder strain.

It's nothing too serious as they didn't find much of anything in Irvin's MRI.

However, the timeline for Irvin's return to the majors is unclear relief pitcher.

PJ P.J. Poulin was recalled from the minors in the corresponding move, but I think

Andrew Alvarez is somebody who could shift from the bullpen to the rotation to be a more

direct replacement for Jake Irvin.

Next outfielder, Johnny Beluka was placed on the 10-day IL with a hamstring strain.

DeLuca was the raise everyday right fielder before he suffered the hamstring strain.

Outfielder Victor Mesa Jr. was recalled for the minors in a corresponding move.

He's had his best offensive season at 24 years old this year, batting 350 with a 162 WRC plus in 21 games

between A ball and AAA, and Mesa Jr. will be on the strong side of a right field

platoon with Ryan Vallade. Relief pitcher, Cole Wynn, was placed on the 15-day aisle with

arm fatigue. He has sort of shifted between high and low leverage situations.

He was somebody who was trusted a lot by the Rangers early in the season.

But with Chris Martin returning, Wynn has been in more low leverage situations.

Now he's going to be on the injured list.

As Gavin Collier was recalled for the minors in the corresponding move, he had some of the
