I will be your host for this Sunday weekend edition of the pod.

Let's get into everything baseball related from Saturday, May 23rd.

We will start with some news and notes, as always.

Josh Young was removed from the game with left shoulder soreness.

Yordon Alvarez, probably the biggest headline of the day, removed with a back spasm,

apparently was precautionary. We will, of course, update you as we get more information.

Lordis Guriel, 10-day I.L with left hamstring strain.

Jake Irvin was tossing a no- hitter. More on that in a bit.

Wasn't going to finish it, but was pulled with back tightness after five excellent

innings. And Jordan Hicks is going to hit the 15-day I.L.

with some assorted injuries for the White Sox reliever.

Corey Seeger had a setback in his recovery as we get into some rehab starts and recovery

updates.

Seeger was expected to have a bit of a training session that was abbreviated as he was

dealing with some issues.

So he is going to have something of a setback.

Cole Reagan's made a rehab appearance for the Royals set to join the rotation fairly soon,

and Chris Bubich began a throwing program with him.

Finally, the transaction, Bryson Mautz, Mottz, called up to start for the Cardinals today,
