Let's dive into everything baseball related from Sunday, August 4th. We'll start it off as always with the transactions, injuries, news and notes from around the league, kicking things off with the bad news.

A starting pitcher, Jacob Mizoroski was placed on the 15-day IL with a tibia contusion.

Basically, he's just got a shin bruise from being hit by a batted ball.

Mizorowski is expected to just miss two starts, spending the minimum time on the injured list.

So best news we could get there out of a Mizoroski aisle placement.

In a corresponding move, starting pitcher Logan Henderson was recalled from the miners to start

in our nation's capital on Sunday.

He tossed four in a third innings, allowing three hits and one and run, while walking two and striking out four, inducing 10 whiffs with 26% CSW across 76 pitches. And Henderson was honestly the first Brewer's rookie that was very enticing in fantasy this year. He does get the Mets up next, and I'm not super excited about that one. But if Henderson sticks in the rotation after Mizorski returns, he may get some play in fantasy.

Next, we have closing pitcher Seth Halverson, who is placed on the 15-day IL with an elbow

strain.

He is seeking multiple opinions right now, which is never a good sign.

So Halverson could be due for an extended absence, and crossed not the case but could also be elbow

surgery nick anderson was recalled for the minors in a corresponding move but victor vonick is likely

to be the top option to take over for to take over the closer role for halverson for the rockies

as the only active reliever with a save on the club because Zach Agnos is on the IL.

So Victor Vodnik, likely to take over for Seth Halverson as the Rockies closer.
