You've been coming here to practice a piece that is not of this world.

But looking to the world to confirm this piece you're practicing,

looking for evidence that this piece works,

do not judge by appearances.

Do not judge by even the feelings of that body,

of the moods of that mind,

the inner weather that comes and goes, I am the judge,

and you are saved, you are healed, you are whole, you are mine. Every time you are tempted

to turn a stone into bread, every time you are tempted to want the things of this world.

Listen for my peace.

Let that be your mantra today. Listen for peace.

My word is that feeling that rises in you when you slow down, when you stop, when you soften,

when you surrender, when you let go of not just that body, but the world it calls home.

Home is calling you.

A throne is calling you. Answer me. Sing to me while you appear to be there.
