remember st. Clotilda a queen a widow and a woman whose quiet strength helped

shape the soul of a nation.

Clotilda was born into the Royal House of Burgundy around 475.

But her early years were anything but royal.

Her father, Chil Perrick, was murdered by his own brother in a violent power grab.

Clotilda survived the chaos and was raised

at court, surrounded by the Aryan heresy. But by some providential grace, she clung to the Catholic

faith. It was her beauty, intelligence, and virtue that caught the attention of Clovis,

the mighty and pagan king of the Franks. He proposed

marriage, and she accepted, but with a mission in mind. Gently, lovingly, and patiently,

she encouraged him to embrace the Christian faith. For a while, he hesitated. After all, a pagan king

had to consider the loyalty of his still pagan people.

But everything changed after a fierce battle against the Alamanii.
