Ford Motor Company has signed a five-year agreement with Stripe and online payment

processor to scale the automaker's e-commerce capabilities.

Strip will facilitate transactions for vehicle orders and reservations, handle financing

options for Ford's commercial customers, and route customers payments from the

automakers website to the correct local Ford or Lincoln dealer. Ford plans to

begin rolling out Stripes technology in the second half of 2022 starting with North America.

And Amazon appears to have rode back from a public threat to end support for visa payments

in the UK in a dispute over payment fees. The e-commerce giant sent an email to users of

Amazon.co. UK yesterday informing them that the expected change, which was due to take place on January 19th

will not now take place on that day although it is still not clear if the two

companies have come to sustained terms on fees.
