Every day, every day, and take the next step forward together.

And so that's what we have gathered to do,

to take the next step forward together,

which leads us back into the book of Jeremiah.

And today we will read chapters 37 and 38s,

before moving forward in the New Testament,

back into 1 Timothy, 1 Jeremiah.

And kings Etaqa, the son of Josiah,

reigned instead of Konea, the son of Jehoiachim,

whom Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, made king in the land of Judah.

But neither he nor his servants nor the people of the land

listened to the words of the Lord,

which he spoke through the prophet Jeremiah.

But Zedekiah, the king, sent Jehoiachal, the son of Shalamaya,

and Zephaniah, the son of Meassiah, the priest,

to the prophet Jeremiah, saying,

please pray to the Lord our God for us.

Now Jeremiah was still coming in and going out among the people,

for they had not yet put him into prison.
