Today is the 20th day of October.

Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible.

I am Brian.

It is fantastic to be here with you today as we greet a brand new shiny

sparkly week. It's a reminder. It's all out in front of us. We're going to do it. It's going to be the

story of our lives and it will be a testament to what we actually believe and

what our convictions and values actually are, that will be formed

by our thoughts, and then our words and deeds, and as a combination of what we do and what we say, well that would be the truth.

Even if it's just a bunch of conflicted things, then that would be the truth.

That we are really conflicted.

But if our words and deeds and thoughts are in alignment with each other,

then we are being true and one of the ways that we can move in that direction is to allow

the scriptures access to our, and they can speak to us, and we can look into them and find the

truth and navigate in that direction.

And so let's do that.

We'll read from the contemporary English version this week.

We're continuing to work our way through the Book of Jeremiah at this point in the Old

Testament.

And so today,

Jeremiah chapters 35 and 36. When Jahan Kim was King of Judah, the Lord told me,

Go to the Recobite Clan and invite them to meet you in one of the side rooms of the temple.

When they arrive, offer them a drink of wine.
