This Oasis is such a peaceful place, it's like the most peaceful place in my life and I'm glad that we can be here together and

rest and be at peace knowing that we've come for one thing and that is simply to allow the Bible to speak into our lives

and it certainly does.

It certainly does if we're paying attention. It certainly becomes a mirror if we're paying attention

It certainly does show us

So much clarity if we're paying attention and so I'm glad that we can be here together and I'm glad that we have this place to be together.

So let's do what we've come together to do and take the next step forward and the journey through the scriptures.

Today we'll read Jeremiah chapter 23 verse 21 through 25 verse V.

I did not send out these profits yet they ran I did not speak to them yet they prophesied

If they had really stood in my council they would have enabled my people to hear my words

and would have turned them from their evil ways and their evil deeds.

Am I a God who is only near? This is the Lord's declaration and not a God who is far away?

Can a person hide in secret places where I cannot see him?

Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?

The Lord's Declaration. I have heard what the prophets who prophesy a lie in my name have said.

I had a dream. I had a dream. How long will this continue in the minds of the prophets prophesying lies?

Profits of the deceit of their own minds.
