Today is the 12th day of October.

Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I'm Brian.

It is wonderful to be here with you today.

This has been a, I mean it's taken 12 days, but this is the first

full week of this month where we have a Sunday to a Saturday so it's good to experience the full

first week of this month it's good to be here with you as we bring to a close another one of the

weeks that we have together and it is fantastic to have the opportunity to take the

next step forward together as we gather again around the global

campfire. We're in the book of Jeremiah in the Old Testament right now.

And so let's dive in. We're reading today,

Jeremiah, chapters 19, 20, and 21. one.

This is what the Lord says.

Go and buy a clay jar from a potter.

Take along some of the elders of the people and of the priests

and go out to the valley of Beninom,

near the entrance of the Pachard Gate.

There proclaim the words I tell you and say,

Here the word of the Lord, you kings of Judah and people of Jerusalem.

This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says.

Listen, I am going to bring a disaster on this place that will make the ears of everyone who hears of it tingle

For they have forsaken me and made this a place of foreign gods

They have burned incense in it to gods that neither they nor their ancestors nor the kings of
