Welcome back to the global campfire. It's going to be here with everyone.

I hope everybody's nice and cozy.

Wherever you may be, it's good to be here together in this place,

a safe place that we create for each other every day.

Place where we just come to let the scriptures speak for themselves into our lives

and so I'm grateful that this speak for themselves into our lives.

And so I'm grateful that this place exists at all,

and I'm very grateful that we get to be here together

taking the next step forward. Our next step forward.

Our next step forward

leads us to the conclusion of the book of Isaiah, so we will read today

the final chapter, which is the 66th chapter and be moving forward tomorrow

but first, chapter 66.

This is what the Lord says.

The heavens are my throne, and the earth is my footstool.

Where then is the house you will build for me?

Where is the place where I will rest?

My hand made them.

That is how they came to be, says the Lord.

I show special favor says the Lord.

I show special favor to the humble and contrites who respect what I have to say.
