Not my, I mean our, happy birthday to our daughter, China today, who's been such a part of the

daily audio Bible for so long now. So happy birthday to her and, um, man, tomorrow's Thanksgiving

day. So it is upon us. The holidays have arrived and And, well, I guess we can talk about some of that

if we want to later. But let's dive in to today's reading. And our next step forward, we began the book of Daniel yesterday.

And so obviously we're going to be continuing.

And Daniel will take us into the month of December.

And so this next step forward brings us to chapter 2, verse 24 through 3 verse 30.

Therefore, Daniel went to Ariok, whom the king had assigned to destroy the wise men of Babylon.

He came and said to him, don't destroy the wise men of Babylon. He came and said to him,

Don't destroy the wise men of Babylon.

Bring me before the king and I will give him the interpretation.

Then Ariak quickly brought Daniel before the king and said to him,

I have found a man among the Judean exiles who can let the king know the interpretation.

The king said and replied to Daniel, whose name was Belta Shazhar.

Are you able to tell me the dream I had?

And its interpretation?

Daniel answered the king.

No wise man, medium, magician, or diviner is able to make known to the king the mystery
