Today is the 25th day of November.

Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible.

I'm Brian, and it is wonderful, a privilege and honor.

I'm grateful, deeply, deeply grateful to be here with you today

as we do what we do every single day, another step forward,

another move, another move in the right direction, hopefully. Definitely the scriptures will lead us

another move in the right direction, give us ways to think and feel and understand things.

And then we get to choose what we're going to do with that.

And prayerfully, and believe me, I don't always, but prayerfully, we're always paying attention

and trying to make that move in the right direction.

So it's great to be here with you today on this 25th day of November, the 329th day of the year,

and we've finished the book of Ezekiel yesterday, one of the longer books in the Bible.

So we've been kind of in the Old Testament navigating through what is known as the major prophets.

And they're grouped that way, not so much because they're major, like as in major importance,

more important than any other books of prophecy, but because they're longer,

have much, much, much more material. And so today, we've kind of come to the final of that

grouping of books, and that is the book of Daniel, and then we'll be moving into the minor prophets.

And as we can see, there's not that much year left.

So we're going to blaze through the minor prophets because they are not because they're less important, because they're shorter.

And so as the year speeds up for us, the Bible kind of speeds up for us as well.

And we just kind of cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time.

But today we'll begin the book of Daniel.
