I am Brian.

It is wonderful to be here with you today.

As we gather for the last week of this month,

and a lot of things shift in this week as far as just getting ready for busyness

and getting ready for the last month of the year. So here we are locked in together, committed

to staying together, showing up for each other every day, and letting

the Bible kind of guide so much of what it is we're going to face.

And so it's good to be here with you today as we begin this brand new, shiny, sparkly week out in front of us, we are continuing

our journey through the book of Ezekiel.

We'll read from the new international version this week.

And today, Ezekiel chapter 47 and 48.

The man brought me back to the entrance to the temple, and I saw water coming out from under the threshold of the temple toward the east, for the temple faced east. The water was coming down from under the south side of the temple toward the east, for the temple faced east.

Then he brought me out through the north gate and led me around the outside to the outer gate facing east,

and the water was trickling from the south side. As the man went eastward with a measuring line in his hand,

he measured off a thousand cubits and then led me through water that was ankle deep.
