We're continuing with our journey through the life of King Saul

and his intermingling with David who is going to succeed him.

But we're not there yet.

Saul is trying everything he possibly can do

to get rid of David because the paranoia is out of control.

First Samuel 24 and 25.

After Saul had returned from chasing the Philistines, he was told that David had gone to the

wilderness of Engetti.

He gathered 3,000 hardened fighting men from across Israel and sought David in the vicinity of the rocks of wild goats.
