0:16.7	Just kind of passing through the middle of another one of our months together.
0:22.0	And obviously we'll be picking up where we left off, which will lead us back into the

0:28.8	And we have had the opportunity to observe Israel's 1st King Saul.
0:34.6	Today we're going to start seeing the intertwining of another person's life.
0:40.3	His name is David, and he will be King David at some points.
0:47.1	But at this point he's a musician who plays for the king when the king is disturbed.
0:55.8	He carries the king's armor, he's known by the king.
1:00.7	But he's also about to become an international celebrity, even though that's not what

1:09.0	And so let's begin the story.
1:11.8	1st Samuel chapter 17 verse 1 through 18 verse 4 today.
1:24.9	Now the Philistines gather their troops for battle.
1:28.6	They gather at Soko, which belongs to Judah, and they camped between Soko and Azika at

1:35.2	Damim.
1:36.6	Saul and the men of Israel also gather together and camp in the valley of Ila.
1:42.2	They lined up in battle formation opposite the Philistines.
