Today is the 11th day of April. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible.

Ah, here we are. Brand new shiny, sparkly week. Today is Mother's Day in the United States.

I realize it's the world over and as a community here around the global campfire.

Probably, I don't know.

There's a lot of nations represented.

Probably there's some kind of day to celebrate moms of some sort.

Here in the United States, it's Mother's Day.

So, happy Mother's Day to all of you mothers in the world.

Happy Mother's Day to my wife.

I hope this is a rich and meaningful, beautiful day.

I also recognize that holidays of any sort can bring up other things besides joy and

happiness, even though that's what they're intended for.

And so, if that's the case, if there's some estrangement or guilt or shame or confusion, those kinds of things i'm glad we can we can sit in that together that we

can just be together but happy happy mother's day happy mother's moms. My mom has been gone a while now.

What I think of her today as well. As we move into this shiny, sparkly new week.

A 20th Mother's Day.

Since the daily audio bible began,

I'm glad.

I'm appreciative. I'm grateful.

We can be together today.

So, let us do what we've come to do and take the next step forward in the scriptures.
