0:09.8	And it is great to be here around the global campfire.
0:13.2	It is great to be here for another day and another step forward.
0:17.9	In our week, in our month, and our lives in the scriptures.
0:23.6	Deeply grateful today that we can do this.
0:28.5	And let's do it.
0:30.5	We are in the book of Deuteronomy right now.
0:34.3	And Deuteronomy is like the three final discourses or teachings that Moses has to give to the people that he has led all the way to this point to the promised land but he will not lead them
0:47.9	and so he is transferring authority and power but he is also making sure that nothing gets, like nothing is left
0:56.6	unsaid in his leadership.
1:00.1	So we finished the first speech or discourse yesterday.
1:05.1	And so today we'll begin the second.
1:08.9	Deuteronomy chapters chapters five, and six.
1:20.0	Moses summoned all Israel and said to them,
1:25.8	Israel, listen to the statutes and ordinances I am proclaiming as you hear them today.
1:33.3	Learn and follow them carefully.
1:36.3	The Lord our God made a covenant with us at Horeb.
1:40.3	He did not make this covenant with our ancestors, but with all of us who are alive here today.
1:48.0	The Lord spoke to you face to face from the fire on the mountain.
1:53.0	At that time I was standing between the Lord and you to report the word of the Lord to you
