Today is the 12th day of March.

Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I'm Brian.

It's great. It's fantastic to be here with you today.

So glad that we can gather again here around the global campfire,

here in this safe place, here in this place that we gather every day,

and open our hearts and let the scriptures speak into our lives

as we take another step forward on a journey that lasts a year.

We're well underway in our journey.

This the 20th time around the sun, this 20th excursion through the scriptures.

Grateful that we can be together for it.

Glad that we can take the next step forward every day.

Glad to be here for the 12th day of March for the 20th time.

I'm glad to read what we'll read today.

And we are in the book of numbers at this point.

The reality that the children of Israel are not moving into the promised land at this point, that they have been disqualified for their lack of trust in God and their arrogance.

Now they're kind of been thrashing around as the reality sets in.

Let's take the next step forward.

Numbers,

chapter 16, verse 41 through 18, verse 32 today.

The next day, the whole Israelite community grumbled against Moses and Aaron.

You have killed the Lord's people, they said.
