I am Brian.

Grateful to be here with you today.

Grateful that you're here.

Grateful that we're here.

Grateful that we can be together around the global campfire.

Our safe oasis.

Our place of healing and restoration, our place of repair,

but our place where things are safe for us to explore the truth, the truth of ourselves and the truth of the scriptures. I am grateful, humbled, glad, rejoicing to be here

with you today as we gather to take another step forward on the grand voyage, this cruise that

were taken across a year and through the entire Bible.

And we have worked our way through Genesis Exodus, Leviticus,

and we are now in the Book of Numbers,

the children of Israel.

Well, they made it all the way to the threshold of the promised land,

only to basically disqualify themselves by losing faith, by losing trust, by grumbling against God.

And they have been commanded to go back into the wilderness.

And God has essentially said there isn't a single person that grumbled.

There isn't anybody that gets in. Everyone's out. Everyone's going to die in the wilderness.

An emerging generation will go and do what you would not.

Ouch. And man, that can be a mirror as so many of these stories are and so let's take the
