Ah, welcome back to the global campfire.

I am Brian and grateful to be here today.

So wow, friends.

This is like the last day of the sixth month. That went fast, right? That went fast. It was just New Year's and we began this journey with Genesis chapter

one, but here we are.

And I just want to mark it, right?

Just take a second to realize this is the halfway point of the year.

And this being the 20th year, I'm just every day grateful and paying attention to it in my own life, but here we are, halfway through the journey. And so well done. Well done. Well done for making it this far.

Well done for the journey that we are on together.

And well done for reaching kind of this center of the year.

And may we continue to take steps forward every single day for the rest of this year, so that we not only complete the Bible, but really take the journey that the Bible takes us on,

in touching everything about us, and really giving us the tools that we need to open our eyes and see,

and make good and wise choices and even make wisdom a category in our lives.

So grateful, grateful to be here with you today on this last day of June as we take this next step forward

that will lead us back to 2nd Kings today chapter 17 verse 1 through 18, verse 12.

Poshia, son of Ila,

began to rule over Israel in the 12th year

of King Ahaz's reign in Judah.
