campfire. I'm Brian. It is truly an honor to be in your presence today. I'm grateful that we can be together for another day. I'm grateful for

another day. I'm grateful for another step on the journey that we are taking through the Bible this

year. And as I always say, because it's always true, we're picking up where we left off, exactly where we left off.

And so that pulls us back into the Book of Second Kings at this point.

And we've been kind of with Elisha quite a bit, some of the stories of Elisha.

We'll go back into something Elijah, the prophet prophesied.

The end of a person named Jezebel.

Who was a Phoenician princess, but she had somebody killed so that she could get his vineyard.

His name was Naboth for her husband, who was the king.

And it's all kind of coming down at this point.

So, Second Kings, chapter 9, verse 14 through 10, verse 31 today.

So, Jehu, son of Jehohohoch, the son of Nimshi, conspired against Joram.

Now Joram and all Israel had been defending Raymond Gilead against Haseo, king of Aram.

But King Joram had returned to Jesrael to recover from the wounds the Aramians had inflicted on him in the battle

with Azale, king of Aram.

Jehu said, if you desire to make me king, don't let anyone slip out of the city to go and tell

the news in Jesrael.

Then he got into his chariot and rode to Jesrael because Joram was resting there,

and Aeziah, king of Judah, had gone down to see him.

When the lookout, standing on the tower in Jesrael, saw Jehu's troops approaching, he called out,

I see some troops coming.
