It is wonderful to be together with you today as we gather again here in this place that we make every day.

It's global campfire.

Place for us to come, a safe place to do nothing but hear the scriptures and kind of let our

guard down and be at peace. Only the truth is going to be spoken. We're just reading the scriptures.

As well, let's do that. We're in the book of Second Kings right now.

Obviously working our way through the kings of Israel and

the kings of Judah.

The thing that weaves the thread together is the Prophet Elisha and so we are moving through that time so let's let's

continue to move second kings chapter 8 verse 1 through 9 verse 13 today.

Now Eliza advised the woman whose son he had brought back to life, you and your family should go and live somewhere else for a while, for the Lord has decreed that a famine will overtake the land for seven years.

So the woman did, as the Prophet said, she and her family went and lived in the land of the Philistines

for seven years.

After seven years the woman returned from the land of the Philistines and went to ask the

king to give her back her house and field.

The king was talking to Gahasi, the prophet's servant, and said,

Tell me all the great things that Alia has done.

While Ghahasi was telling the king how Alisha had brought the dead back to life,

the woman whose son he had brought back to life came

to ask the king for her house and field. Gahazi said, my master, O king, this is the very woman, and this is her son whom Elaisha brought back to life.
