Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible.

I'm Brian, it is wonderful to be here with you today again, we gather like we do up every day around the

global campfire here it's good to be together it's good see you. I'm glad we can be here today.

I'm glad we can take this next step forward together as we continue our journey

through the scriptures.

So we began First Chronicles yesterday,

and we talked about that, First and Second Chronicles,

the territory that we are going into.

It's kind of a look back over territory that we've already

been through but it's coming from a priestly perspective and it's coming at a

later date.

And we talked about how the genealogies that are famous in the Bible are largely found here and we're kind of moving through them now.

And so that's what we will continue through at this point the first nine chapters of chronicles are genealogies today first chronicles

chapter 2 verse 18 through 4 verse 4

Caleb the son of has run became the father of children by Azuba, his wife, also known as

Geriote.

These were her sons, Jesher, Shobobab and Ardon.

Azuba died and Caleb married Efroth, who gave birth to her for him.

Her became the father of Uri, and Uri became the father of Bezilau.

Afterward, Hazran went to the daughter of MacKir, the father of Gilead, whom he took when he was 60 years old,

and she gave birth to Segub for him.
