doing well. It is great to come back together with you. It is an honor. I am deeply grateful that you showed up

and that we're here together around the global campfire.

As we continue our journey through this year,

get ourselves unpacked and moved into this brand new month

and get unpacked and moved into this second half of the year. Grateful, grateful to be here.

I hope you are too. And as we open our hearts, I pray that the scriptures speak to what we need to hear, where we are, how we are,

as we keep showing up here for the purpose of transformation, of change, of moving forward in the right direction, and

of being a safe person and being among safety, as that has been the word of the year so far, and we've seen so many examples

of what that does and does not look like as we take this inward journey that these scriptures

take us on.

So deeply grateful to be here with you for the next step forward

and that next step leads us back into the book of second kings

where we are now traveling along with only the kingdom of Judah

the kingdom of Israel is no more.

Second Kings, chapter 22, verse 3 through 23, verse 30.

In the 18th year of his reign, King Josiah sent Chaffan, son of Azalea and grandson of Mishulam, the court secretary, to the temple of the Lord. He told him, go to Hilkiah, the high priest, and have him count the money the gatekeepers

have collected from the people at the Lord's Temple. Entrust this money to the men assigned

to supervise the restoration of the Lord's Temple. Then they can use it to pay workers to repair

the temple. They will need to hire carpenters, builders, and masons. Also have them

buy the timber and the finished stone needed to repair the temple. But don't require the

construction supervisors to keep account of the money they receive, for they are honest and
