Today is the second day of July.

Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible.

I am Brian and it is with a grateful heart that we're here together today around the global campfire.

Very ingraateful to be in this seventh month of the year,

just kind of getting moved into it, this 20th time through the month of July. And so,

expressing gratitude, grateful that we have this place and that we've had it for this long,

and that it's been a safe place for us to seek transformation in our hearts.

Because when our hearts change, then our lives change. If there's one thing that we are

learning very clearly in the scriptures, it all happens inside of us. We cannot arrange for things

like we cannot move the furniture around in our lives externally,

expecting inner peace to happen as a result of it.

It's completely the other way around.

And so the Bible speaks into our hearts if we have eyes to see and ears to hear.

And we do, right?

I mean, that's why we show up for each other every day and take the next step forward.

So I am grateful to be here with you today for that.

The next step forward and The next step forward.

And the next step forward leads us back into the book of second kings.

And just by way of reminder, at this point in kings,

there aren't two kingdoms anymore.

We just have the southern kingdom of Judah.
